Sentinel Story Starters Summer 2014

Here are the story starters for The Sentinel for the summer.  Your child can write stories and e-mail them into The Sentinel.  The dates listed are the dates they are due, they seem to like them a day or two early though.  I would send them one at a time.  The stories that are chosen are printed in the paper one week from the due date.
May be a good thing to do when you start hearing how bored they are!  If nothing else they will stop saying that they are bored!

Here is more information on this from The Sentinel:
The Sentinel publishes stories written by children aged 5-13 every week throughout the year.
We accept emailed submissions at frontdoor@cumberlink.com (with the subject “Kids Speak Out,” as well as handwritten submissions dropped off or mailed to Kids Speak Out, The Sentinel, 457 E. North St., Carlisle, PA 17013. Stories should be 150 words or less and include the student’s full name, age, school and grade.
