The students in our second grade have been studying about
Johnny Appleseed and the pioneers for Social Studies.
Please make sure your child brings one apple to school by Tuesday,
September 20. Any color or type of apple is fine.
The apples will be used for a graphing lesson and a lesson in
circumference in math, as well as for a creative writing lesson in
Language Arts.
Your child will need his/her apple by the start of class on
Tuesday. Any apples brought to school on Monday will be
refrigerated and given to their owners on Tuesday.
