We will
be making Apple People in second grade next week.
Please
make sure your child brings an apple to school by Wednesday, September 24. Any
color or type of apple will be fine.
The
apples will be used for a graphing lesson and a lesson in circumference in
math, as well as for a creative writing lesson in Language Arts.
Your child will need his/her apple by
the start of class on Wednesday. Please do not send
apples in any earlier than Monday, September 22. Any apples brought to school before Wednesday
will be refrigerated and given to their owners on Wednesday. If you
send the apple in before Wednesday, please have it in a bag labeled with your
child’s name.
